I was on the hunt for a reliable tea travel mug for the longest time. I was being too picky with each one - either they were too small, not spill-proof or not very ergonomic for work. J ended up finding this 16 ounce Leak Proof Drink Bottle with Tea Infuser from Thermos on Amazon and it has honestly been a dream to use.

TERRA Sweet Potato Chips Review
I am always looking for a healthy snack to add to my arsenal of snacks. Being the frugal university student, the sales are what determines what my next snack is. At Costco TERRA Sweet Potato Chips were on sale for $3.99 so I decided to give it a shot.

Google's Nutrition Tool
I thought I'd switch it up and feature a service rather than a product today. Leave it to the folks on Reddit to stumble upon this tool. Now this is not a new tool, Google quietly launched it back in 2013, but I hadn't heard of it until now.
By typing "compare ____ and ____" or "____ vs ____"in Google will give you a nutrition comparison tool. Using the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Nutrient Database and Google's own algorithms, you will be hit with nutritional information as well as a bunch of tempting-looking recipes. As always, Google tries to give you "what might be useful to you when you ask it a question. Thanks, Google!

Skotidakis Greek Yogurt Review
I absolutely love Greek Yogurt.. it's such a thick and decadent alternative to the regular watery yogurt. Before Greek yogurt, yogurt was either runny and very sweet or contained 20 calories. So when Greek yogurt blew up in Toronto, I searched high and low to find my favourite - which I can now confidently say is Skotidakis Yogurt.

Lindt Dark Chocolate Strawberry Review
Okay, so this is not by any means a new product but I recently decided to stray from my typical Lindt 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate and get something more adventurous. So I picked up the Lindt Dark Chocolate Strawberry and the Lindt White Chocolate Strawberry bars and o-m-g they are heavenly.
The best part about this particular chocolate is you can really taste the strawberry. It is NOT a strawberry flavoured chocolate but chocolate with strawberry pieces IN it.
Smooth and creamy chocolate combined with dehydrated strawberry pieces. The white chocolate is perfect for those who crave a sweet and creamy strawberry fix. The dark chocolate on the other hand is more decadent (expected) and the perfect after-lunch dessert. Both are dangerously addicting and I highly recommend you try them!

Genmaicha 玄米茶
![]() |
| Available at David's Tea, Teavana or your local Asian grocery store. |

A good tea rarely comes without a tale and genmaicha is no exception - Legend has it that a servant was preparing tea when he accidentally dropped some rice (that was hidden in his kimono sleeve as a snack for later) into a cup of green tea. The master was enraged and beheaded the servant immediately before even tasting the tea. The delicate flavor of sweet, toasted rice with the sencha green tea leaves.
Genmaicha's addition of the brown rice is argued to enhance the already plentiful health benefits of green tea including weight loss, decrease in risk of cancer, is an antioxidant and has relaxing and calming results
Steep 1.5tsp of genmaicha for 2-3 minutes at ~80 degrees Celsius or experiment to find the green, toasty spot you like best! Genmaicha can be enjoyed hot or chilled, with or without matcha green tea powder added.
Watch out, it's addicting!
