Pretty standard setting indoors
The only discerning thing about this place is that the tables are placed a little too close for comfort. You are literally elbow-to-elbow with the people beside you. The tables are also very small for the number of people they are supposed to fit.
Their menu is also posted on their walls!
For the most part everything is $7.53 = $8.50 incl. tax
The menu is small and limited but if you come, stick with the soondubu! They really only have 3 items on their menu: bulgogi, bibimbap and tofu stews. They have around four or five tofu stews - each are essentially the same but with slightly varying ingredients. They also have five different levels of spiciness for their soup from mile to extra spicy (there is a "white" option for those who want less than mild spiciness!!). We ended up getting the Combination Soon Tofu Stew (which was a mixture of seafood and beef) at a medium spiciness level!
Beans, Bean sprouts, Pickled radish, kim chi
Egg was for the tofu stew
Combination Soon Tofu (beef, shrimp, mussel) $7.53
The soup is unbelievably good and flavourful - spicy, meaty with lots of tofu. Our only regret was that we should have gotten it spicier!
The combination soon tofu comes with stone bowl rice
All in all, it was delicious - a nice, quick meal. The service was quick and the servers are nice. However, do expect them to somewhat drop the meal in front of you - this is not a fine dining restaurant! The place is also not very clean - the tables can be sticky and such. However, good for a quick meal on the run.
