Cho Sun Ok

Craving Korean food but it's a hot, sweltering day? Have no fear, Cho Sun Ok's cold noodles are here! This restaurant specializes in cold noodles but seriously, all its dishes are pretty darn good

Cho Sun Ok
Where: 7353 Yonge St, Toronto, ON
Price: $

Cho Sun Ok specializes in MOOL NAENGMYUN which are cold chewy arrowroot noodles in a tangy icy beef broth. Trust me, I was very sceptical about cold noodles (I'm more of a piping hot bowl of noodles kind of gal) but man, I'm a believer now! We ordered the Mool Naengmyun with the Galbi option ($17.95). There is also the option to have it alone ($8.95) or add on a plate steamed/fried dumplings. The servings they give for the kalbi and dumplings are huge!

Donkatsu ($9.95)

We also got the DONKATSU ($9.95) and were pleasantly surprised when two HUGE pieces of crispy pork were place in front of us. I kid you not, they are VERY generous with their servings

Bul Nak Jeongol ($29.95)

Lastly, we ordered the BUL NAK JEONGOL ($29.95) which had onions, green onions, cabbage, squid, bulgogi served in a spicy beef broth in a hot pot topped with glass noodles. This is one of our absolute favourite Korean comfort food even if it's a boiling hot day outside. We were a little disappointed as it is a very small portion in comparison to Oh Geul Boh Geul but hey, the flavours were there and it was still very yummy :)
